Lay Listener Program Mission: The Meeting House Lay Listener Program’s mission is to extend a caring net to all church members, enhancing relationships and fostering interpersonal connections throughout the meeting house community. To ensure that no congregation member ever feels isolated and alone, lay listeners will reach out to provide spiritual support and comfort, extending their hearts to individuals and their families in good times and in bad, listening without passing judgment, with complete respect and confidentiality. Individuals seeking more information about the Lay Listener Program, or those requesting a visit, and or making a referral may contact one of the coordinators: Geralyn Laut or Julie Smith (see Directory for contact information).
