  1. What Social Justice need does CUREJ address?

CUREJ is an interfaith, multiracial organization. Our mission is to build healthy, caring relationships across racial and faith barriers, to educate our member congregations on racism, to prepare members to do social justice work in service projects as well advocacy on issues.

  2. CUREJ membership is open to members of the Unitarian Society of Hartford, Unitarian Universalist Society - East, Universalist Church of West Hartford, and Bethel AME in Bloomfield. Members engage in monthly discussions of race relations and social justice issues related to racial discrimination. Members support advocacy issues in Hartford related to environmental justice. Meetings are held on Thursday evenings, the 3rd Thursday of each month. Check CUREJ web site for details.
