Short video on Why Do You Come to the Unitarian Society of Hartford Events.
Even if you are not formally part of a faith community, we are most happy to work with you to design a ceremony or service that will recognize and celebrate your life events, such as births, weddings and deaths. We gladly perform christenings and naming ceremonies, weddings and commitment ceremonies, funerals and memorial services, which may also include interment in our memorial garden. Please call the ministers to discuss your need.
Read about why some members have joined in the past. We are a welcoming congregation celebrating the lives of all people. We welcome those with physical, psychiatric, and intellectual (cognitive) disabilities. Our facilities are handicapped accessible. We have been designated a Green Sanctuary.
