Cancel  the Rent is doing a Car Caravan this Saturday, August 15, very similar to the last one we did. Last time, we had folks drive into USH parking lot, make signs, and connect. It worked really well, and I am wondering if this would be possible again. Right now we are working on the Facebook event, but I believe we’re asking folks to meet up at 9am to then head out at 9:45 or 10am to the Governor’s mansion. I will let Eric fill in the details. We’re asking the Governor to extend the eviction moratorium and to cancel rent during the pandemic (and make funds available for landlords to recover lost income).
