LOVE THE QUESTIONS: Poet Rilke advised us to love the questions and in time to live into the answers. So as I wonder about integrating the truths of both cognitive science and mystical spirituality, I suppose that evolution of consciousness is in play. We know on the scale of the universe that human consciousness has barely arrived. What might human consciousness evolve into? Why, based on the evidence of science, would we assume “we’ve gonna ‘bout as fer as we can go”?  I like those questions when I read experiences of people who regularly practice meditation and whose altered brain waves have been recorded. The joy and gift of our Unitarian Universalism is that ALL our questions are included and encouraged. May time bring us wiser answers.  What are your questions?
